I tried the REDFLAG coupon code and it didn't work on their website (couldn't preview the total amount until my order was processed) - so called CS and they fixed it and will refund difference.

Then I remembered the 25% off code: ENTERTAINMENT (found on the forums here) and they said they would honour that too.

Shipping is free over $99 but just watch out for the handling fee - that surprised me

Yeah, I found vision direct cheaper as well even after you apply the other guy's discount.
Probably depends on the specific lenses you're buying.

And vision direct has a $10 off coupon code if your order is $100 or more.

I tried the REDFLAG code a couple weeks ago, and it didn't work. I e-mailed them, and CoastalContacts didn't bother to get back to me. I ended up ordering anyway, with a $5 off coupon code. Received my contacts in a week. Very happy with the price and turn-around time.

Vision direct charges $9.99 for international shipping. Even if your total falls into the "free shipping" price range.

I should have read the other posts more clearly. Clearly contacts does not preview your discount codes when you click order they invoice you.

In the end vision direct would have been $10 cheaper than CC (using the 25% discount) for me -4 boxes acuvue oasys. Although the lenses are now coming via fedex for free.

I placed an order on Sept 29th. Shipped Oct 2nd. I have phoned twice, they keep saying I have to wait 30 days to see if it arrives. The first lady kept saying that they have to come all the way from Washington, and that can take awhile????. Second lady said must be held up at customs and nothing they could do, and made it sound like this is not unusual. They do not have tracking numbers so they can not tell were it is. As of today nothing yet. I ordered a set of D&G glasses and lenses from the UK on the same day and received them on Oct 16th.
I would never deal with VisionDirect again, but this is just my experience.

That sucks. I recently ordered and they took about 10 days. It's my 3rd order and never had a problem. That's the problem with cross-border deals, it's a crap shoot as to what gets delayed.

The REDFLAG coupon is actually only for the ClearlyContacts.ca site. Clearly/Coastal used to be cheaper with the discount, guess that's changed. Thanks for the VisionDirect coupon, any idea when it ends?

I don't know why everyone says REDFLAG doesn't work for coastalcontacts.com but it does. They were going to refund me 10% on my credit card because it is not done at the time of order, but thanks to the above poster - I called back an got 25% off instead! Thanks!! I will update my post.

You are comparing Acuvue 2 with Acuvue Oasys.. Some of us has dry eyes and can't wear Acuvue 2.
