So I have been using Acuvue lens for a while but I find them pretty dry. I was thinking of switching to Air Optix. Problem is now I also have astigmatism. Since I have never had Air Optix lenses before I need a trial pair before I go out and buy a year's supply. I got a coupon from their website for a free trial pair and went to Ajax Costco but the guy said I had to buy two boxes to get a free trial pair...kinda dumb cause a box is $59.99 which is a 6month supply.

So question is, does anyone know where I can get a trial pair in the GTA no strings attached?

Have you got your trial yet? Where did you get the coupon from, the U.S site or the Canadian site? I would like to try these out as the Acuvue Oasys are not cutting it anymore. I could just order 4 boxes from Clearly but it would suck if they are worse then the oasys.

For some reason vision direct coupon code isn't working for me.
If I call clearly contacts will they match 25% off since it's listed on visions website?
Also has anyone ever had to return an unopened box? I have 1 box left and my prescription changed and I was given different lenses because the r/x is too high.

Yes, I called them as the code doesn't work on their website. The customer service I received from them was fantastic.

I didn't get my trial as yet - didn't really try any other places. I got the coupon from the US site.

Is Vision Direct Acuvue Oasys more expensive now compared to a year ago ? I just PMed Clearly Contacts with the 25% off code for 8 boxes and was charged $150+ but I paid only $122 last year. The conversion rate was better last year but still it's $25+ more than I paid for the same items 10 months ago and the rep said it's due to inflation, blah, blah , blah ...

I asked Clearly for a price match and they said no problem, however they are charging me shipping. I guess Vision does not ship for free to Canada so they added something like $13 for shipping to the price. Is this accurate? Its still decent but I was just wondering if this is normal.

Vision Direct charges $9.99 shipping + $1.99 handling fee to Canada ($11.98) and it's on their web site under shipping. Clearly doesn't charge shipping for orders over $99 but they will add the $11.98 after the PMed price. I just paid $141.99 for 8 boxes of Acuvue Oasys yesterday.

$141.99 is the total including Canadapost Express shipping, the official invoice I received shows $0.00 for tax. Didn't pay tax last year and the year before.

I ordered eight boxes of Oasys for Astigmatism for my wife today. The CC price was $410. After price matching Vision Direct, giving a 5% PM credit, and adjusting for shipping and exchange rates, the price dropped down to C$211 to be delivered next week.
