Bought one today and tried it out on my 2012 Macbook air. Works just fine .. A cheap alternative to the Apple $80.00 drive plus it works with Windows . Comes bundled with Corel Burn.Now 4.5 Se software (Windows)
The Costco in Mississauga South had about 100 on display this afternoon... I've seen this in Costco Etobicoke too, but it was $29.99 last week.

Oh wow! Thanks OP, was on the fence to purchase it when it was @29.97. Good accessories for the ideapad S400 that is selling for $400 at Costco Oakville (SKU 899400)

DVD has come to end of life soon. Didn't expect so many people are still interested in use of DVDs. There are tons of them at Costco (Dundas/Winstonchurch), no one was interested though.
