meh, they should have kept Justin Hartley and done a Smallville spin off instead.

Looks interesting. They were obviously going for a Revenge meets Nolan's Batman theme though.

That would have been horrible. There's really only so much they could have done with that character, and definitely not enough for the 8-10 years CW likes to run its successful shows.

I'll watch it because I like superhero stuff. I recommend Green Lantern the Animated Series. It's done in 3D and looks great. They've broadcast 12 episodes so far and it's been very enjoyable.

Looks great.. I'd watch it.

Its a good idea to build a series around a relatively minor superhero. That way, they can take more liberties without pissing off or alienating too many people, since not as many people are hardcore Green Arrow fans as opposed to Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, etc...

Tempted to DL it. Is it mostly oriented toward the ladies? Or is action paced and such?

i feel that this show is more oriented towards males, atleast in this first episode, lots of action etc. it has a batman feel (billionaire who disappears for x reason & x years, comes back & become vigilante). pretty good first episode, oliver queen is a hottie :cheesygri
