CANON REBEL T2I W/18-55IS / 55-250IS - $979.99 (minus $20 when you checkout with paypal)
Went up by $30. It was $950 last week when I ordered, minus $20 for using paypal which will be credited end of this month. Received it today with the bag/4gbsd/hdmi cable.

FL-36r flash OfficeDepot.ca
when trying to order the FL-36r flash at OfficeDepot.ca you get insufficient stock. anywhere else to find this, or another flash for Olympus?

Yep it shows OOS after adding to cart.
I haven't seen any good deals for olympus flashes other than that one.
What camera are you using?

Amazon.ca has the E-PL1 for $399
http://www.amazon.ca/exec/obidos/ASI...photoprice1-20
Aden, and others are close behind ($419 at Aden).
If you include B&H (now that they offer cheap shipping to Canada) there are tons of deals like the Panasonic GF1 w/20mm 1.7 lens for $599.

Newbie
Best Value for $650????
I've got a budget for my daughter (photo newbie) of about $650. What is the best value at this price point on current deals? I've read the threads on the Canon T1i but I haven't seen much on other brands like Nikon, Olympus or Sony. Any thoughts? (Thanks in advance)

thanks for the Amazon link.
I'm gonna try to keep it within Canadian retailers. B&H and Adorama will generally have better pricing. But then there is the issue with cross border warranties.
