What's the difference between the three sets of Monster Jamz being sold for $30? Which model number is best?: http://www.futureshop.ca/Search/Sear...lowSecure=True

NCIX has the Sennheiser IE60's for $129.
I ended up buying them since they sold out of the IE80's.

I have the Klipsch S4 i got when they were on sale for $30…hate em. Bulky, weird fit, mediocre sound.
Considering purchasing some new ones, maybe the monster lil jamz or something...

I have a pair, and they're phenomenal. Super comfortable, and great sound, especially if you can get proper isolation - I'm using Complys with them. If you read those reviews, it looks like they were written by idiots. See the professional reviews. I just bought another pair. 2 year Klipsch warranty, as well. The only issue is the microphonics can be an issue with the flat cables - though that disappears with the Comply foams.
You want to trade Klipsch for Monster? The S4s have been extremely well reviewed for fit and sound for $$; the only common complaint is with the durability of the product.Last edited by milhaus; Dec 25th, 2012 at 10:53 PM.

Hey I just realized recently that the sony balanced armature series are on sale at future shop:
http://www.futureshop.ca/Search/Sear...lowSecure=True
What has happened? Sony rarely gives this big of a sale, and I think it's only at future shop too.
Are they any good? Reviews on amazon say they're crap, but I think it's mostly because of the price. At 40 or 60 it's a different story...
I'm trying to decide whether to get the sony or this sennheiser:

some help would be gladly appreciated

Sony is probably phasing out the current xba series which is why the discount. (FS has Sony Z1050 MP3 player at $130 which is an excellent deal if you care about the sound and don't mind its bulkiness)
As for the review, go check head-fi for more proper reviews on sound quality. Amazon is good for general user experience such as build quality and comfort but I wouldn't trust that for more specialized review.

May I suggest the CX870's for $32.99? I just ordered, can't wait to test them.

Oh those are good prices for the sony XBAs. I got XBA3s which I really like but for $40, XBA1s might be good IEMs at that price.

Decided to pick up the Sony XBA-2 from FS, crazy how big the markup on earphones as they once retailed for $199.
