call your provider that you ported the fongo number to and tell them the situation.mistytalon wrote: ↑Nov 21st, 2016 1:24 amSo I ported my number out of Fongo, and even though I have the number working on my new phone, with my new courier, whatsapp and steam and other services still see the number as a voip number, and thus refuse to send SMS verification codes to my number.
Anyone have a similar experience or know how to fix?

Is anyone having issues with Fongo on receiving SMS/voicemail (LG G Pad III)? Half the time they don't appear. I ported my number over but I just want it for incoming calls/SMS (not paying for premium plans). I've already gave it higher priority on notifications in my Settings, and enabled wifi-lock in the Fongo settings. Any advice?

make sure you are not logged in to your Fongo account on another device. Only 1 device will get the messagemcfart wrote: ↑Dec 19th, 2016 5:59 amIs anyone having issues with Fongo on receiving SMS/voicemail (LG G Pad III)? Half the time they don't appear. Can I somehow port out all my SMS conversations to another device? Apparently the SMS conversations are saved locally on the device. Any way to move them? According to Fongo FAQ there is no export function, backup-restore, but I'm thinking I might be able to copy the Fongo folder to the new device?

How often does this happen with their reliability? Thinking of porting over but if this is a frequent issue then I may think otherwise.

Yes, I saw that. But then right above it it says, "No system notices at this time, have a nice day!"
And as you note, everything seems to be working fine now. So perhaps the issue is that someone forgot to update the Voice Calling status.

It said that even when the problem existed.
Rather, they didn't change system notice to indicate a problem. So perhaps the issue is that someone forgot to update the Voice Calling status.
