if i get a 289 number while i'm located in waterloo. when my friend calls me, does he have to have pay long distance? since i'm technically in waterloo with a markham area code?

If you get a Markham DELL VOICE number and your friends call that, it is LOCAL for them and VoIP for you (doesn't count as a local/LD call). It shouldn't cost you or your friends anything except their regular minutes and your data/Wifi.

Works fine on N1. However, I can't seem to customize different ringtones for different numbers.
Is ringtone customization working for anyone else?

I own a Dell Venue Pro which runs on Windows Phone 7. I cannot use Dell Voice on my Dell phone, but I can use it on an Apple iPhone. Dell replaced 20,000 of their employee Blackberries with the Dell Venue Pro. So none of the Dell employees can use Dell Voice either.

Maybe a WP7 app would be a good idea...

I installed the Dell Voice App from the AppStore onto my 4th Generation iPod Touch and it seems to work great!! Install was quick and smooth. Tried incoming and outgoing calls. Integrates with Contact List...so far so good!!
