I used something called Advanced Task Killer but the app restarts automatically. I had to go to settings, applications, manage applications, dell voice, force stop. Thanks.

Yeah that's the app I was referring too haha. I guess nothing beats "Force Stop" then haha.

This is amazing. I've been using Talkatone (Google Voice) on my iPhone for a while now. This goes one step further by giving you your own phone number, voice mail, and call-forwarding. Great stuff. BTW if you don't want to pay for US minutes, just use Talkatone, it's free outbound calling for US/Can.

Yeah.. It's basically Talkatone except you can receive incoming calls with the same # as your outgoing # that they assign you!

Too bad SO UMB Data ports got blocked or else I would be up on this like so fast!

Go under the Settings tab -> Account

Press the menu button on your device, select Exit.

This obviously doesn't work with the UMB SO offers right? Since they started blocking the ports?

Fongo's international calling rates are incredibly low.

Nope, they are not. To call my country is 2.5 times more expensive than my current rate with voipalot or 1.5 times more expensive than necc.

I get a black screen on my android (LG Optimus One) like a few others have mentioned on here. It only occurs when you make a call though... as if there's an issue with the proximity sensor settings.

looks like a lot of android users on this thread are reported with this problem on their phone~ I tried disabling the proximity sensor but same thing pretty much~ the iOS app works a lot nicer~ oh well since i do carry my 4s around mainly I guess the android bug won't bother me for now~ Hopefully they come out with a fix for the android version~

BTW I wish when they let you choose your # you got to see a list of them instead of showing you one at a time and only giving 4 tries I used up all my tries and ended up with a real crap #.

Try the browser back button to get more tries and once you see a number you like, TAKE IT :P

What's the big deal? Isn't this identical to "Bud Phone" which also has an Android/iPhone app? It's also through FreePhoneLine (which is now Fongo). And Bud Phone has been around for months and months now.
