Looks like they are doing it again! I got an email from clearlycontacts that they are doing that free glasses giveaway on Feb 23:

They don't tell you how to get the glasses yet, you have to sign up for an email that they send you on the 23rd, when they tell you how to get them for free. If it's like last time then you have to use a coupon code to get the free glasses.

When I click on "Sign Up!", though, I get a 404 error... will try again from my home computer, but I don't think I successfully signed up.

What???? how did you manage that? I live in edmonton and i tried to get free glasses during the Calgary promo and my order was cancelled "because i didn't meet the required criteria to be eligible for the promotion".

I guess you lucked out then. Well, i'm glad they're doing Edmonton now so i'm guaranteed to get free glasses since i meet their criteria this time around.

Does anyone know what frames comes with it from previous promotion ? Is it limited to $38 frames or any frames you want from the website ?

If it is the same as last time, it will be valid for all of the frames on the site, not just the $38 ones. It went REALLY fast, though, cause they only do the first 500 or whatever.

[edit] I also tried to order the CALGARY ones and my order got cancelled, too.... I actually hope that ppl dont go ordering knowing that they will be cancelled cause it ruins it for people who actually quality for them... I remember with the first one some RFDers were ordering like 10 free pairs! Come on, folks, don't be greedy!

yeah. seriously. Don't ruin this for the rest of us. Being on here since 2005, i know there's bound to be an RFD effect; but seriously, I'm going to stop posting deals if i can't get in on this because of people ordering 10 pairs of glasses for themselves.
