Getting W810i for free by quoting dealer's price of 0 dollars???? Can someone please confirm this? If that's the case, then paying $100 for it, is a ripoff..

thats true, for the w810i's say that you saw it from a dealer for $0.00 alot of people are getting them from csr's for $0.00 now.

I was offered 74.99 at first for 3 years. But there is a dealer offering this for $0. I heard it on the radio. The Chinese one.. 88.9FM. So I told the rep and she said hold on, let me check. She came back and said// "Alright.. i can give it to you for $0." That's all

I got the same thing from the rep. They're just reading off whatever "deal" was documented so it looks like things have gotten more difficult. I was offered:
$20/mo + SAF + 911 = 2-yr contract, 200min day, evenings/wknd 8p-8a, CID.
$25/mo + SAF + 911 = 3-yr contract, 250min day, evenings/wknd 6p-8a, CID.

No R2R, no VM basic, no LD, no SMS. The rep also explicitly made it clear that this offer would be documented and referenced when I call back. Also, I can confirm that anyone (PayGo, new customers) can call up the xCR line BUT they'll only offer the same terrible plans on rogerswireless.ca until YOU explicitly tell them what you want. Once I did that all of a sudden the above "deals" were offered.

Hey guys, I have an important question regarding rogers cellphone contract cancellation. Currently, my contract expires sometime in 2010 and I just did a HUP with a new phone, my question is when I cancel the service in April, 2007, all I have to pay is the $200 cancellation charge right?

Do I get to keep the new phone from HUP? Please advise since it is very important to me.
