For the record - Some apple stores ARE selling unlocked versions.

Called Apple Store at Eaton Centre. They are selling unlocked versions.

To cash in...lot of people are trying to flip the phones for profit and the loyal apple following. If this continues, we need a global holiday!
Lol the cashing in piece only works when there is a shortage of supply (ie: the iphone 4/4s fiasco). But it seems like all the supply is meeting up with the demand.

yes...for those that say it doesn't are lying. There has to be some sort of physical attraction (unless you're visually impaired obviously). Looks get you there and personality keeps you there.

the chamfered edge of my black 32 has a fair size nick right out of the box - I literally have not touched the phone yet.

What up with that?

yeah I hear those edges will get pretty rough with time, so I'm not too worried about it.

Anyone know the line situation at square 1? Thinking of headig over
Pretty huge at the Apple store, so huge that they sectioned the lines into THREE parts, mainly for the Mall traffic to pass by. :o

Rogers and Fido booths were also lined up but less crazier, maybe about 20-50 people max. Bell booth was about 3-5 people and Virgin/Chatr/Telus were literally empty.

Flip what? There's no shortage of stock. Anyone that wants it can just waltz into a store and get one. I'm not surprised that there's still iPhones all over the city being reported past noon.

did anyone pickup a nano-sim from Apple store? Did you have to bring your iphone & receipt to get it free?

To other countries...iPhone sells for 3700 in Moscow...ABC News

Lot of other news posts stating people getting the iphones and going straight to ebay.

I don't disagree that there is enough supply just a lot of people thinking they can profit from this frenzy.

Frankly, I rather buy Apple iStock.

this is hilarious.

went to sherway to check out the line at around 7 this morning. couldn't bring myself to do it, because i have a 16G waiting to be picked up at Rogers.

went to work early, stopped by best buy. no line at all. just a woman waiting in her car to buy for her kids.

so formed a line ourselves, got in right at 8 and got our phones without any issues, aside from Roger's Sales Centre system dying
Yup stopped by my local Future Shop around 11am and walked out with my 32gb white about half hour later. Just waiting on it to activate still lol
