[Merged] Just saw a meteor hit the earth
I was coming home just now from the girlfriends and crossing a bidge which has the 407 under it and I noticed something bright cutting across the road. I looked closer thinking it was a fire work some one had shot off and noticed it was on fire and the fire was dying out the closer it got. Then it just went out on the other side off the road in some bushes.
I was tempted to pull over and look for it but was so excited I saw a meteor. I just googled it and they say about 10 meteor's are found which year which don't turn into dust when they hit earth..
Anyone else seen something like this?!_______________Proud To be a Hunter, Dodge Owner and Piranha Hobbyist

"I would prefer even to fail with honor than to win by cheating" (Sophocles). But an honourable win over a cheater's fail? Best.

Yes I had time to grab my cell phone and snap a shot.
Although I did take some snap shots before going between two water spouts yesterday on Lake Erie

The wall of rain coming from the water spout on the left was insane when we had to go through it. The rain drops were the size of a toonie. Being only 200 yards from the spout itself was just freaky yet amazing at the same time_______________Proud To be a Hunter, Dodge Owner and Piranha Hobbyist

I don't doubt that you saw something, I do highly doubt it dropped just into the bushes though perception of distances is a funny thing.

I saw something similar while I was driving in Waterloo, I only saw it for maybe 2 seconds but it was travelling so fast with a white tail then when it went past the tree line it had kind of an orange flash...it was weird

Saw this as well while playing basketball outside with friends last night. It lit up the sky and even cp24 is reporting it. It was awesome.
