Bye Bye to Two Phone .. Hi BB Balance

I wont say Samsung will never enter into Enterprise but all i can see is RIM made it hard with BB10 and BB Balance

Never heard about this feature.
Are you saying you can have 2 different numbers, distinct on the BB10?
I presume, if that's the case, the only condition would be it has to be on the same service provider, or is there a dual sim slot?

wow .. its called Balance .. meaning you will have two partitions on your phone and both work independently !!!

No Costly two lines, No Costly two phones.. One BB Handles Both...

Your friend ask for the phone and you simply lock the work partition with one click and volla .. he wont go into any of ur work emails or work apps !!!

Also assume you join the Company with your Own BB and tomorrow is your last day, the ITAdmin, with one click will wipe the work partition .. all gone .. company information preserved :)

Wow this sounds awesome!

Dual sim support would be even better though!

OK, so from what I can understand, no dual sim. Does this need to be managed by IT Admin, or can someone who runs a small office, maybe only 3 lines etc.

Ideally, dual SIM is better for me in small biz. But this BB balance feature sounds cool.

Dual SIM and Balance are two completely different things.
Balance allows users and IT admins to keep work and play separate.

Balance does require Fusion / BES to function and is not meant for the regular small business owner (unless of course they have BES).

Ahh, I see.
Thanks for the explanation. Cool feature, just not a value-add for someone in my position.

Already have an iOS and WP8 phone, I don't need to be tempted to carry BB10 as well! I can certainly see the value with larger business

I know that Crackberry and MobileSyrup have tons of discussions, but they aren't "deal" oriented. And now that virtually all Canadian carriers and a lot of retailers are now taking preorders, I am wondering where the best deal might be.

(haters are going to hate... but BB is still #1 phone in Canada and preorders have been insane... so please refrain from threadcrapping about BB and RIM).
