It says eBook reader. On the Chapters site, the Nexus 7 is under eBook readers.

I'm pretty sure Ctwizzy still got the deal despite this. That's why the coupon didn't scan

Yes I still got the deal despite the coupon not scanning., its a technicality they do differentiate between reader and tablet its in the fine print on the same offer. Both say reader only online 10â„… says tablets in addition. Its defn YMMV though

If nobody is interested I'll just return the one I would buy from chapters or indigo after I get a price protection a t FS.
I'm interested in taking it off your hands. I'm out in Coquitlam and tried at the Pinetree store last night. No go for me.
Good Luck!!!

my brightness is set to almost 50%..
I think the reason i was expecting a better performance then the ipad 2, is because the nexus is much newer

Hi everyone,
I'd like to clarify the legal language on behalf of Indigo. We classify all eReaders, Tablets and all electronics that we sell as "eReaders." All eReaders, tablets and electronics are excluded from our Friends and Family promotion.

This really doesn't make any sense, all indigo has to do is put the word tablet in the fine print and this whole confusion could be avoided. You can go on calling the nexus 7 a e-reader (and everything electronic?) while everyone else and every other company considers it a tablet...
