I actually went with a friend who bought the OVO x Canada Goose jacket on its release date and the fur is supposed to be black. I saw them in person & that one looks like a very cheap rip-off, lol.

It's the 50th Anniversary Limited edition. It doesn't look 'cheap'. Its soft leather, double fur. There were about 5-10 sold at Due West I believe. I've seen 3 people wearing downtown. A black dude and 2 Asians. $1600 MSRP.

Im with Embolus here, in that personally I would not buy a used jacket. How to calculate value? Compare it to others of similar quality and if its cheaper than the rest then its worth it. I say if its in mint condition and you cant find a brand new one thats a good deal then go for it.

I'm guessing you took my comment literally.

My own clothes, my own sweat, my own smell, who cares....I'll wear it until the clothes rip or don't fit.

But when I have a choice to buy a brand new one or something that is practically the same price but used...I'll opt for a new item...I'm not that cheap.

looks legit. old model, before 2009 sometime. No patch on arm, fur looks nice.

Clarifcation on no patch. This model had no patch until two years ago.

Hey guys, just wanted to point out I spotted a fake Trillium today.

So I found an ad for a new trillium with tags for $220. I looked at the photos and nothing was showing they were counterfeit. The photos were not 100% clear quality, and it was from a distance.
I decided to do what most people don't, which is to investigate it myself. Seeing as I feel obligated to find these things and confirm them, and get a chance to see a previously unfaked model for the first time, i took the opportunity. Also if it was real, id get a steal.

Met seller, who was a mainlander. They are smart now, the jacket was in a square bag with a huge CG logo on it, to try to make it look legit. However I've never seen this bag before in my life. I instantly thought something was up. I inspected the jacket, brown fur. The fur was real, but real raccoon fur. Poor raccoon. The badge had loose stiching however, all the logos inside the jacket and outside were well updated and copied. The tags were sorta updated, but they were 50% smaller than the real tags. No book was inside the pocket, so that confirmed it for me.

To be honest, if it wasn't for my experience, i would have been scammed. Anyone who only saw this coat 10 times in a store would have bought it.

TIP: If its $400 or less and new, its fake. period.
