Bought this used Mens xl chiliwack bomber jacket for extremely cheap the other day. The jacket is from before 2010. Has two YKK zippers on it. Fur looks like real coyote fur not cotton, *doesnt clump when its wet) ..the jacket is heavy duty material and doesnt wrinkle. everything looks legit. feels legit. but it does not have a shoulder patch or any signs of a shoulder patch being there. was there ever a model of this jacket made for bush pilots that does not have shoulder patch.?

Hey all

Newbie here from across the water. I live in Brighton, UK and I have to say I chose your forum for this post as it's the best collection of Canada Goose nuts on the Web!

So... I need all of your opinions on the fur ruff.

In the process of trying on numerous sized Citadel parkas, I noticed the significant variance in the fur ruffs. I understand why this is but wanted to garner opinions on what people generally look for/prefer.

Currently, I think I have two ends of the spectrum. I have a shorter, slightly coarser haired version that seems tough and doesn't shed, and I have a long bushy version that is incredibly soft with long almost feather like wisps on either side. This one seems to shed a bit more.

The shorter one looks a bit measly next to the long one, but looks harder wearing and won't tickle my nose when the hood's folded in a classic parka tunnel, the longer one is very extravagant and the long wisps tickle my nose when rolled into a tunnel.

So which style do you all prefer? I don't want to regret going with the shorter one and equally, I don't want to regret having the long one tickling my nose or indeed looking a bit feminine...

Be good to hear from you all

Cheers

Dan

Go for the one with bigger fur. It will last longer.

I could really use your help! I just bought a used Canada Goose "Mountaineer" jacket on eBay, but it just didn't quite look right to me. The fabric doesn't look the same as a new Mountaineer, it's missing the reflective stripes on the hood, and it doesn't have the thumb-holes in the cuffs. If it is real, is it just an older model? I can't find any documentation on older Mountaineer models online. Thanks!
