Here's my camera http://www.dealextreme.com/feedbacks...s.dx/sku.35356
I bought it for $115 two months ago, so looks like the price went down. I have the same forum post on clublexus and somebody posted this ... http://www.amazon.com/Monitor-Dashbo...1670879&sr=8-7
It looks the same, and if it is the same camera/quality, it's a lot cheaper, but from the pic it looks to be the same as mine. Some people complain about the mount falling off sometimes, but mine is great, never have fallen off twice and as you can tell my suspension is kinda stiff and even after a crash it's mounted tight.

I have the same one. Mine said it was HD but in fact it is only 640 x 480. I got mine for 35 bucks on fleabay. YMMV with their hd claims.

I am often asked to tell the motoring public that it is illegal to change lanes in an intersection. I cannot do this, because there is no specific rule prohibiting this driving action in the Motor Vehicle Act. However, a defensive driver will choose not to do this, even if it is legal.
The Motor Vehicle Act prohibits lane changes when doing so is unsafe or will affect the travel of another vehicle. In addition a driver must not change lanes if it means crossing a solid line. If there is no traffic in or near the intersection the lane change would be allowed as solid lines are not usually painted within intersections.
Keeping in mind that more than 50% of collisions in British Columbia occur in intersections, it is wise to keep vehicle movements there uncomplicated. This is why defensive driving prohibits making a lane change within the intersection. The choice removes one element of uncertainty for other drivers and that creates a safer driving environment.
In summary, choose the lane you want to use and occupy it well in advance of the intersection. If you decide that it is not the correct lane to use after all, wait until you are well clear of the intersection and then change lanes again as necessary.

Driving to work in the morning, when 3 cars decide to ignore the red light and no turn on red sign. Almost ran into the last guy as he didn't even bother to check for cars while illegally turning.
Video was taken by some cheap $20 thing I got from deal extreme.

Top of the windshield, I was hesitant to even get a dash cam at first because I didn't want the mount to make the car/dash area look cheap, but I can almost hide it from the driver's view by placing it next to the rearview mirror, and the wide angle camera means you can almost place it anywhere and get a good shot still.
