Hi I am in the market for new LCD
and was quoted following prices
Samsung 55 inch 6000 series Best buy : $4200 incl. PSP plus taxes
Samsung 55 inch 7000 series Future Shop : $4300 incl. PSP plus taxes

anyone else has experience with this or can advise if this is a decent deal.

Don't let them fool you, those aren't local dimming LED sets like last year's XBR8 and A950

I wouldn't spend anywhere near that kind of money for those sets.

+1, dont throw your money away just for WAF, since the xbr8 and 950 (which is cheaper too) are much better sets. The new G10 panasonic is also better as well.
