I think I'm going to buy this TV...the deal at local FS....$3600 + tax includes FS 4 year warranty ( $699)...have to get them both in order to get that TV for that price ....what do you guys think ?

what's the price without the 4 years? I don't understand how it could not be cheaper without the 4 years.... I just have a problem paying 25% of the price of something in warranty... just doesn't sit right.

The warranty is way too much. A four year warranty should be only $500.

I think without the warranty was about $3300...I know warrantly is pricey as hell...but brings the price of tv down a little...I guess they have to make money somehow lol

The 52 XBR4 is currently 3599.99 plus tax at FS with the "Friends and Family" sale (It was earlier this morning but now its not)

If you are getting the warranty for the 4 additional years included for "free" then I say its a good deal. If you can get just the TV for 3,300 you can buy the warranty at Sony for $499 later so you are better getting the deal at FS.

Or pay on your Amex and get the original 1 year doubled to 2 years at no cost

Go buy it and post up your receipt.
