Yup, my local store has 50% of clearance but the manager refused to allow it on games. But then, my local store shipped out all their clearance games a couple of months back, so whenever one of these threads pops up I go in and there's absolutely nothing on sale for any console

which staples did u find these deals, thanksWildarm wrote: ↑I'm sure some of these titles have been posted in other threads but I figured a new thread would be good to consolidate. Pretty good prices for folks who might have missed Sony or RP sales.
Most titles from the start of this year are on clearance:
Battlefield Bad Company 2(PS3/Xbox) - $17.97
Dragon Age: Origins(PS3/Xbox) - $17.97
Alan Wake(Xbox) - $17.97
Heavy Rain(PS3) - $17.97
Red Steel 2 /w Motion Plus(Wii) - $17.97
Mario and Sonic at the Winter Olympics(Wii) - $17.97
Blur(PS3/Xbox) - $22.97
Avatar(PS3/Xbox) - $9.97
Pokemon Pearl/Diamond/Platinum(DS) - $9.97
Zelda - Phantom Hourglass/Spirit Tracks(DS) - $9.97
AC2 Brotherhood(DS) - $3.97
As always, YMMV on stock and local store may offer up to 50% extra off of clearance games. I managed 10% which is about as good as it gets around here.
Feel free to post other titles you find.

BFBC2 PS3 - $17.97
Heavy Rain PS3 - $17.97
Alan Wake Xbox 360 - $17.97
Blur PS3 (PS3 is hard to find on clearance in my experience) - $22.97
AC2 Brotherhood PSP - $3.97
There were plenty of others but those were all I needed for myself or for gifts.

Hey Dan Kow which staples in MTL did you go to? I only know of the one in Centre DeJardins but I don't even think they have a gaming section. ***** is weak.Dan_Kow wrote: ↑I was just going to post this, as I got back from Staples with a pile of games. Thanks for the heads up about some of these price drops! I snagged a few of the titles you listed (Heavy Rain, Alan Wake).. I picked up a few others as well, including:
Grand Slam Tennis (Wii) - 6.97
Fifa 10 (PS3) - 9.97
For some reason Dragon Age: Origins (360) didn't scan at 17.97 when I brought it up to the front.. don't remember exactly what it came up at but it was more than $20. I wasn't paying close enough attention, so who knows, maybe it had the wrong barcode on it (some of the clearance games seemed to have written product numbers on them, covering the actual barcodes). So it's possible it was supposed to be 17.97 but I'm just sharing my experience.

Updated with input from other folks. Also added Uncharted 2. Had them scan the display box and it came up $17.97. CSR couldn't find it in the back though. Boo.....

Maybe DA:O is only $17.97 for PS3? That was the copy I scanned. Other games were coming up the same price for both consoles so I assumed this one would too.

Was just at the richmond hill staples. Didn't have any of the games I wanted (Alan Wake, the Zeldas). They did have a copy of Crackdown 2 for $17.97 and I also noticed a copy of Killzone 2 for $9.99, though. Dunno if that's just the normal price these days, but thought I'd give a head's up just in case.
