I just got back from Vegas. Stayed @ the Excalibur. It was alright but I'll stay elsewhere next time. I must say though that even though I travelled by myself this time, I had so much fun talking to a ton of people, saw 1 concert (which was actually REALLY good in my opinion) and ate and drank a ridiculous amount of food and alcohol.

Can't wait to go back next time and jump off the stratosphere. (May change my mind on doing that once I actually get up there).

hello, i dont facebook but i was wondering if i could make a spoof facebook account to claim my rewards from MyVegas or similar fb games.
is it a printable coupon (does it include your name?) after you claim your reward or what exactly happens after i hit claim?

id really rather not sign up for facebook using my real name ect. but i do want free buffets lol

thank you
Redemption is to a specific name upon picking it. As long as it matches the name on your id when you go to check in or get your free comp at the casino players desk or show box office.

Doesn't matter what you name the Facebook acct but bear in mind Facebook deletes fake duplicate spam and other accts at random and without warning so just be prepared for the possibility to lose all your points and progress.

I posted the following tips for myvegas and coupons before but here it is again because it is good to have:

Start with the desktop Facebook version of myvegas. Bet small and play a long time. Your best loyalty points earning will happen at the lower levels with the small bets, at higher levels you have to play higher bets to earn at the same rate.

Use Facebook group fan pages like myvegas gifts guides and giveaways to accumulate friends and to find bonus chip links. You can use chrome browser with linkclump and close tabs extensions to collect very quickly.

Then on your mobile device install the Amazon webstore app (also known as Amazon underground) and install the 3 myvegas games, myvegas slots, myvegas blackjack, and myvegas Konami slots. Why use the Amazon app to install vs the normal Google or iOS store? Because the apps from the latter stores do not earn loyalty points bonuses for leveling up and challenge completion on the mystrip feature. The apps from Amazon do.

Also install the myvegas pop slots app.

Play all 4 of those apps and the desktop facebook app as much as possible. Even just opening them daily doing the daily spin and collecting the time bonuses without actually playing will earn you 20000 to 30000 or more loyalty points a month for doing next to nothing.

As an extra bonus you can install the myvegas mgm lucky life app to earn points if you ever plan on travelling to macau or any other resorts featured on that app.

There are 2 very good coupon books for las Vegas. The first is the aforementioned American Casino Guide released yearly. Cost is around $17usd. Amazon or Barnes and Noble in the USA are your best bet for buying.

The second is the lasvegasadvisor member rewards book. Directly available from the lasvegasadvisor.com store. $37usd for the site yearly membership which includes the book. Sounds steep but includes a couple hundred dollars in free slot play and match play coupons and BOGO buffet coupons for excellent eats like the cosmopolitan wicked spoon buffet, mandaly bay house of blues gospel brunch, and $10 off Caesars bacchanal brunch buffet. Even includes other gems like 2 for 1 BBQ plates at Ellis island which anyone who has eaten there knows the food is worth paying regular price. Tons of other 2 for 1 dining buffet and show deals all over town.

Hi
I'm going to Vegas in two weeks, and never used Lyft before. Wondering what is the code for $5 off for 10 rides for new users? I found a few codes online, but one was posted in 2016, and the other shows no one has used it today.

Just want one that will work from you guys.

I haven't used Lyft in a year and won't be using it anytime soon.
Looks like it's RIDERCOUPON https://rideshareapps.com/current-lyft- ... -for-2016/

Had a Q (for you or anybody) regarding the My Vegas App Comps and the Crown and Anchor resort credit. have you use both together, specifically I found the Wolf Gang at MGM has a 241 Entree on MyVegas and if I could use my resort Credit (staying at Aria) would definetely be sweet.

Thanks for all the tips so far guys.

Just got back Vegas (4 nights) trip. Relatively quiet... but we stayed from Sun-Thurs so i guess that is common. Pretty much just a "poker-cation". We did use a few groupons. Primeburger was good, really recommend TheOtherRoom (outside Caesars fountains)... nice service, decent prices and good food (They have $10 lunch special for burger+beer). If you can stand the long (sketchy) walk up to circus circus, we ate at Vince neils eat/play for $40 which was a very good deal as well (don't need the groupon as they were giving advertising it).

For poker tourney players, HIGHLY recommend the Aria daily $125 at 1PM and 7PM. Great waitresses, great tables/chairs... place doesn't stink. Great structure, and probably best value for small daily MTT on the strip. For cash players I HIGHLY recommend Harrahs or Planet Hollywood... extremly bad players and you can easily double your money in very little time ($300 buyin games)
...zzz...zzz...zzz...

Business expense or Company pay for the room?
Even at $300....X 5 nights = $1500. That's a lot of money just for the hotel room (although yes, it is a Venetian)

Don't forget the resort fee as well.

full remibursment by the company, but on my pre approval i requested 300 USD a night x 4 nights, which has been approved by the business, i dont want to ask for more at this point.

I dont have to stay at the venetian, but the conference is at the venetian so it would be ideal.

A lot of other hotels are near by. You may book few days at Venetian then a couple at Treasure Island which is only at the other side of the intersection if you don't want to ask for more budget. It will cost much less but won't be as nice as Venetian....
