If that's the case, then I don't really understand how this can be *Thunder Bay Only*. Is this an exclusive offer from an individual store in Thunder Bay? What's to stop anyone from calling in, saying they're in Thunder Bay, and requesting to switch to this plan while keeping their 416 number?
Never mind, I didn't see the article. I suppose this offer is only valid for new activations in the Thunder Bay area.

"Switch from Tbaytel to Bell and get the iPhone 5, the Windows Phone 8X by HTC, the Sony Xperia™ T or the BlackBerry® Bold™ 9900 for $0"
An Iphone 5 for $0 plus the $50/month Voice & Data Plus plan makes this LAVA HOT! I wonder for those who do a one or two day trip to Thunder Bay, if you're not currently with Tbaytel, if you can somehow get the Iphone 5 for $0?
Maybe sign up with Tbaytel prepaid plan for 1 month? lolLast edited by oj777; Dec 12th, 2012 at 05:35 PM.

You guys with your Thunder Bay comments are hilarious.
OP should change the title to reflect the Bell deal though, as it's a bit better with the mobile TV. www.bell.ca/thunderbay
$50 a month for 6GB, unlimited anytime national calling, unlimited international text, unlimited picture messaging, BIS (if needed), caller id, voice mail, and 10 hours of Mobile TV. $45 if you bring your own phone.
You can't get this deal by calling in. You have to go into one of about 6 places in Thunder Bay selling Bell phones to get the plan.

If only they offered to the rest of the province or Canada wide, they'd probably get a million + subscribers. Guess we're stuck with their $56 2gb plan.

As per policy, both a Tbay billing postal code AND Tbay dealer are required. There is no posted restriction on phone number though. Also, policy states only for new activations on Bell.ca.

Can this be combined with a data share option for $15 per month to get a total of two people with 3GB each paying $32.50?

^The plan is not advertised as shareable. The $10 / GB overage confirms this.

I can't comment on this "data share option" thing specifically, but I had the previous version of this plan, when it was 3GB (also advertised a $10 per GB overage), and had two lines. Data was shown as 6GB total shared between the two lines on MyBell.
Today I updated to this current 6GB version, but it hasn't changed online yet so I can't tell if we now have 12GB shared or just 6GB each.Last edited by mc_molineux; Dec 12th, 2012 at 09:30 PM.

How does the $10/GB confirm this? While you are correct that the plan does not explicitly state it is shareable, it doesn't say it's not either. The shareable plans also have $10/GB overage and on the data share page (http://www.bell.ca/Mobility/Promotions/Data_share_plans) it says "Choose a Voice & Data plan with at least 1 GB of data for your smartphone, then share the data with your tablet and/or Turbo Stick for an additional $10/month per device." and this plan is a "Voice & Data Plus plan" with at least 1 GB of data. If this works I think the deal is burning hot:
iPhone 5 + GTA area code (TBay postal for the sign up I guess)
iPhone 4 + tablet SIM + dellvoice
Total of two accounts, unlimited voice & text, 3GB each for $35/month and a free iPhone 5, it doesn't get any better than that.
