Didn't they get rejected by CRTC because of the percentage of foreign holding crap?

So if you have unlocked your Blackberry, iPhone, Nokia, SonyEricsson, or what ever else you may have, it will work without any problems with Wind.
uhhhh NO it wont. you don't understand carrier frequencies. for example the iphone will not work on windmobile regardless of whether its unlocked or not.

Where are their stores/distribution channels?
Supposedly, they have a few kiosks in BBV already, but they aren't selling anything yet.

The bigger picture here is that Tony Clement FINALLY figured out the CRTC is in full of crap (and in Bell's pocket) and told them to Suck it!
Hopefully this will lead to more cases.. and provide more satellite and cable competition, as well as open the door for better internet at cheaper prices..

They got rejected by the CRTC because Bell and Rogers cried that they will lose business.. and their monopoly.. The foreign holding is well within its limits.
Then the government decided to review the findings, and squashed the decision immediately. This is the first step (hopefully) to see the CRTC finally get stripped of any power..

For a basic no-frills phone, and considering I rarely if never use the phone during standard weekday work hours, I prefer my $20/month Koodo plan (100 daytime minutes, unlimited evenings and weekend starting at 7pm and 50 text messages).
