Saw it this morning at Heartland, Mississauga Walmart. Asked girl how much was tab, and she said $150. If this is true this is very good deal considering phone also works on 1700AWS networks (Wind/Mobilicity/T-mobile).

I took picture of display with price/tag but I don't know how to reduce the file size of picture to 19.5KB which is permited on this forum.

I asked girl, you pay $0 at walmart, you have $150 tab which you can pay off little bit every month. Most people on this forum would probably come back home, and call Koodo to convert this to prepay and pay off $150 tab. May be some other members with experience on this kind of deals will confirm.

this is a hot deal. if i wasnt waiting on the nexus for $309 - 8gb, i'd be all over this deal.
i cant confirmed this deal at my WM but if true than this s2x for $150 tab only is probably the hottest deal going on at the moment.

I have no experience with koodoo. It uses Telus/Bell networks, so naturally the phones will not be compatible with Rogers or fido, nor Wind/Mobilicity?

Also, does koodoo negotiate better plans if you call in before signing up for a plan?

OP stated it was AWS compatible. therefore, if unlocked, phone should work with Rogers/Bell/Telus/Wind/Mobilicity etc etc. I would double check the phone specs on GSMArena website
