Actually I was hoping they were the 1kg ones. I've seen Metro use their 600g ones as mammoth during their $10 meal promos.

Just to hijack this thread...Longo's has their $6.99 daily (Monday to Friday) dinner deal. Every night, there is an item for $6.99:

Monday: Stirfry done right pack (albiet a cook your own thing)
Tuesday: 20 piece sushi night
Wednesday: Whole BBQ chicken, basically, they only have the one sized BBQ chicken, so mammoth or not, it is their regular BBQ chicken
Thursday: 16" Pepperoni pizza - hand tossed pizza, so the crust is worth eating...usually a 35 minute wait at my Longos as everyone buys one
Friday: 20 Chicken wings

They are all $6.99 from 4pm onwards. The regular price for these items are $9.99 and $10.99 for the chicken wings (I believe).

So if you think it's a deal at Metro, you can also check out Longo's if that is convenient to you.

I love their pizza and BBQ Chicken.

i get off work at 8, usually get there at 8:30, and usually have chickens left. for the pizza, they usually just have 1 ready, if you want more than one, they will make for u there, takes about 10mins to make.

Last week I got there at about 8pm (Yonge and Eglinton) and there wa a line up. They may not want to have too many cooking later at night in case they are left unsold.

As an expert of tasting ***** can I inquire as to your specific dislikes? Is it all ***** or just certain ones?

Have you never taken one of their fresh made deli pizzas home and cooked it? It tastes like that.
