I'm not sure about the GPA conversion but remember that it's 50% interview too.
But wow your GPA is amazing :)

I am an internationally educated domestic applicant. I did my credential assessment using World Education Service (WES) as required by Michener. According to WES assessment my CGPA is 4.00 in the scale of 4.00. I wonder if Michener would consider this GPA as equal to a credential of 4.00 completed in Canada or they would consider this in a different way (as my degree is not from Canada). Anyone can please shade some light on this ? Currently, I am in waiting list in all three programs I applied for.
I know for certain programs such as MLS and RT they only look at your high school grade 12 marks even if you have a degree. However, for course requirements such as bio, math, and physics they take the higher mark from high school/uni.

I cannot receive osap until 2018. Anyone know of interest free loans I can apply for or anything else? This is for the UofT joint program

Did Osap give you a reason?

I'm dealing with a variance issue where there was a mistake reported with my income back in 2012-2013 and have a restriction on my account until 2018 which sucks.

You can try scholarship with UofT or Michener, see student finance office.

Beyond that, you can get sponsorship from someone.

You can try to appeal the restriction. Speak with the financial aid advisor at Michener. I had a variance in my income and all I had to do was write a letter to my OSAP office.

Michener offers a $1500 entrance scholarship based on leadership/volunteering, does anyone know if there is only one scholarship for the whole incoming cohort or if there if an entrance scholarship for each program?

Also, if anyone else has been accepted into genetics technology I made a private facebook group for us, feel free to join!

When I was there I believe they gave out 3-4 entrance scholarships for the entire incoming cohort.
