DEAD?
Intel Ivy Bridge just launched and already Micro Center is having some amazing deals for it. See the picture for details. You can also combine it with other motherboards. I myself picked the AsRock Z77 Extreme 4 motherboard. Costs only $90. So choose wisely!
And Because we're Canadians, ship to here!

How do you get it shipped directly to you to a Canadian address? -- not amerifriend nor crossbording.
The prices are great. No store in Canada has its prices even close (typical canadian store: CAD240 i5-3570k, CAD94 Z77 ultravalue defeatured mobo)
AFAIK, Z77 is the only chipset able to do CPU/GPU/RAM full featured overclocking, isn't it?
I guess we'll have to wait 3-4 months to have some non-gauged prices for IB cpus and some better mobo selection

As soon as I learned of the price for the 3770k I made the decision to just put a 2600k in my new build yesterday instead for $289.

Can't help but notice the "In store only" just above the MB ads.

the first batch of Ivy bridge processors runs a whole lot hotter than Sandy Bridge when overclocked. its best to wait for a new stepping.

You kidding yourself if you think Canadian stores will drastically drop the prices on the Sandy bridge chips. Just look at the E8500, it's selling at memoryexpress for $210.
You will never see those microcenter prices in Canada.

No. New stepping won't change heat.
