Pi Day with no Raspberrey Pi option at all. Come on Microsoft - you usually have a decent package to hand out at 75 bucks
Cheers 'n Beers.

Really need some advice guys.

Was in the market for a MacBook 2017 12inch, surface book pro 5 with pen and keyboard or an x1. Xps13 was also for consideration. Is this best or the lot considering the deal?
IMO XPS 13 no touch screen is a good deal. touch screen take too much power.

Need some advice. Want to buy a laptop for hubby. He's not gamer, but surf on the web alot. Budget around $1000, which one is the best in this deal? He's using a Thinkpad for over 5 years, so now looking for a new faster one. Thanks!

If he's been using a Thinkpad for 5+ years.. I would guess he would want another Thinkpad. :)

Any thoughts on the HyperX vs the Razer Thresher Wireless Gaming Headset for Xbox One?

I like the concept of wireless, but it appears that I'll need an additional $30 Xbox Wireless Adapter to make it work with PC

For XPS 15, i5 or i7 provide more value for money?
I read some reviews. I think the i5 will have better battery life and chances are that you won't notice 4 cores vs 6 cores. Also, 6 cores is not likely to be able to sustain that load for a long time with the heat output (it will throttle). i7 has vpro but that is very niche and if you haven't used it then not worth it. I think i5 is better overall value.

One thing to note though is that the specs on i5 says 1050ti but I'm not sure if it's actually 1050ti or 1050. If it is 1050, I plan to complain to Microsoft since I bought the i5.

I also bought lenovo P1 (similar to X1 extreme) from another deal and plan to pick one and return the other.

If you are on a budget the HyperX might be better.

The Thresher seems nice with good reviews. Lack of Bluetooth and noise cancellation is a pity. For the sale price it seems to be a good deal. Regular price, not so much.

Buy both and try it out. Keep the one you prefer.

The XPS 13 is probably the best in terms of build quality and portability. It's smaller though. The Inspiron 13/15 are cheaper and a step down in terms of quality, but still good options.

For light casual use you could also get away with a <$500 laptop, but with your bigger budget I would recommend getting something that lasts.

I don't think there are any XPS 15 configuration with the 1050.

I'm surprised there's no Surface deals.
Got that Zoomer plan finally!
