would be down for one if it has 512gb...

The storage is user-replaceable.

This is a pretty solid deal, if you can get over the right shift key placement. The build quality is very good.

Yup, that'll work. But you should find an NVMe M.2 SSD instead. Something like this: https://www.amazon.ca/Crucial-1TB-NAND- ... XY1G4TW13F

Ram is soldered but 16gb is enough for most users. SSD is m.2 nvme and replaceable/upgradeable. Has two thunderbolt 3 ports but only one side can be used to charge the laptop. One known issue is that the laptop does have a slow discharge when under heavy load or gaming while using the stock 65W AC adapter. This can be remedied by buying this 100W AC adapter and a power cable for it.

Wacom Power Adapter, USB-C 100W (ACK42714) https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B074HDZ3QP/ref ... wDbMQS23R7

Some users report coil whine in the laptop but apparently it's the stock nvme SSD, so replacing it would usually fix it. I didn't experience the coil whine. Some people also report static noise from speakers but that was also a miniscule group of users.

Build quality is excellent, probably the nicest and cleanest aluminum Ultrabook that is capable of decent 1080p gaming. Similar to a desktop GT1030. This is the 25W version of the MX150 as opposed to the 10W of other MX150 laptops. The 2 year Microsoft extended warranty is recommended for an extra $120, any issue they will fix or replace if can't be fixed, worth it in my opinion. That's all i know that is worth mentioning, hope it helps.

Why are people down voting this for price? This is a decent deal when you compare to other ultrabooks.

The Dell XPS 13 with i7 and 8GB is $1500. Factor in 10% email discount and 12% ebates, it's going to be around $1215. The extra 8GB ram and MX150 on the RBS is definitely worth the extra $140. Even just the desktop GT 1030 will cost $120-130.

If this isn't a good price, people should let us know where we can find ultrabooks for less than $1300 with i7 CPU, 16GB ram and MX150.

Damn, this is hot. It went down to like $1729 a few weeks ago, but I returned mine because I picked up the Surface Pro instead.
Brown ahead for Bure. Bure going in.. he scores! Pavel Bure has won it for the Vancouver Canucks! It's a triple overtime hat-trick for Vancouver!

Reliability on amzn seems not the best. The discharge issue is a concern for me. They should include a proper power adapter in the box imho, if that is the fix. Getting closer and closer to just waiting for ice lake for my purchases, haven't been impressed with back to school sales so far. Seems there was better stuff during prime day week. I might actually have given this a chance, but already returned the asus tuf 504 that was on sale a few weeks ago. Lots of little things about that box, but the touchpad was ultimately the nail in the coffin on it. This is certainly a different direction, but I am thinking I have had a surface for so long, I may want an ultra book with a discrete gpu, so it is too bad the reliability on amzn seems to have a lot of 1 stars.

I watch a lot of tech YouTubers like Linus Tech Tips for example and everyone has nothing but love for the Razer Blades. I think their opinion is stronger (?) and more informative than the average consumer.

Linus is a huge Razer shill lol. In one video he was complaining about how he can't keep a Razer laptop for more than a year because of its issues. So he replaced his Razer... with another Razer

There's also a video where he bought his employees all Razer laptops, and they had so many problems:
