[Microsoft Store] Surface Devices up to $350 off and 10X Air Miles Jul. 14

SB2.jpg
Save up to $350 on 13.5" Surface Book 2 / Laptop / Pro until Jul. 19. TODAY only, earn 10X Air Miles on Surface Book 2 / Laptop / Pro / Studio. No ebates on Microsoft PC hardware...

I picked up a Surface Book 2 - 13.5" / Intel Core i7 / dGPU / 16GB / 512GB / Intel Core i7 for $2,899 = $350 off.

$2,899 / 20 X 10 = 1,449 Air Miles / 95 = 15 x $10 Air Miles cash redemptions = another $150 in my pocket.

Ebates is 5.3% on surface devices. Pretty good cash back on expensive devices. I chose that over the airmiles.

I still can't justify spending 3 grand on a novelty device that doesn't have any user replaceable parts. One malfunction after the warranty period and you're out.

I bought a brand new surface book for 1100 and I'm still humming and hawing over it.

Apple is now more budget-orientated than Microsoft IMO. The release of the $350 iPad just proves it.

That's why they came out with the surface go to try to hammer it out with the iPad.

Personally I'll run things with a full OS over mobile is any day

I guess if you are ignorant about the differences of the two...then okay. But in reality this is not true. You are trying to say a car is a better option to someone who needs the hauling capacity of a truck. Two different beast.

I will never pay 2,500+ for a laptop, Google, Amazon, MS and many more have the most brilliant engineers using Lenovo at <900$

That's not true at all. It depends on the project they are on and some are rocking 3000 dollar machines. Some also use vms running on servers that cost 100k plus.

I just ordered a surface laptop through the ebates app on android and it looks like i got 7.5% back. I just signed up for ebates and this is my first experience. It appears the app uses ebates.com as the portal and its looks like i received $76.41 usd back on my $1299$ cad purchase. Is that correct? the app uses usd? I can't believe i haven't been using ebates sooner... money on the table...
