[Microsoft Store] Xbox One Elite Wireless Controller in stock - Limited quantities!

Xbox One Elite Wireless Controller appears to back in stock in limited quantities (per section at the bottom of Microsoft Store homepage). It's not a deal in itself but these have been out-of-stock in most retailers throughout holidays. Thought some of you might be interested! :)

Anyone know if this will work with my Original Xbox One Controller / PC wireless dongle?

NM, didn't look close enough, "...For use with Xbox One systems and PCs running Windows 7 or later. PC use requires included USB cable or Wireless Adapter (available Holiday 2015). Drivers available at xbox.com/xboxone/PC-controller...."

this is not a hot price. If it was -$100 it would still be regular price.

Good insight.

The Elite should be lower than any regular MSRP for xb1 / ps4 controllers, gotcha!

I'm not someone that is even remotely competitive when it comes to gaming, nor do I have the interested in spending almost $200 on a controller. But, I've used this for a few hours over the holidays and it's incredibly well made; well weighted, balanced, and feels like a tank.
Not for everyone, definitely niche but to the right user I'm sure it's worth the price.

This comes up every time an Elite controller thread gets posted. It's a hot deal because these things are basically never in stock right now, so for people that actually want one (and don't want to pay $250 on Kijiji for it), being able to get one at regular price is, indeed, actually a hot price. In terms of it being a fair price or not - as far as I'm aware, this price is roughly what "pro" console gamer controllers sell for, and it's actually from MS as opposed to a third party vendor, so you know that it will always be supported.
