They're both slow, but the odds of the Roadster dying is a lot less.

I have a Minikart (2GB) and I keep in in my wallet. It's fine, hasn't broken or anything. Yes it is kinda slow.
If you want pure portability, grab one of these:

I have a 1GB and it's just as durable as the Minikart, but it's a lot smaller. It's about half the size of the Minikart. It's just as slow as the Minikart, maybe a bit slower for writes, but it's quite a bit smaller (AND CHEAPER!).

My friend has teh MiniKart and it just seems to fragile. I mean if you know you'ere going to keep it somewhere safe at all times then why not.
