Commemorate the 100th Anniversary of the Battle of Vimy Ridge with this new, limited edition $2 circulation coin. Honour the solidarity, bravery and sacrifice of Canadians who fought together to take Vimy Ridge. For $10, plus shipping and handling*, you will receive five $2 coins in a specially sealed keepsake.

In the spring of 1917, the Allies launched a new offensive on the Western Front, where all four divisions of the Canadian Corps were ordered to capture the heavily fortified Vimy Ridge. For the first time ever, divisions from all across Canada fought side-by-side at the same time to secure victory. This special two-dollar coin honours the Canadians at Vimy, where their valour and sacrifice contributed to a defining moment for our young nation and its military.

Design:

Designed by Canadian artist Tony Bianco, the coin design features the Canadian National Vimy Memorial in Vimy, France flanked by a First World War soldier on the left and a veteran soldier on the right.

Thanks OP! While not a deal, per se, these kinds of posts are fun for gifts and collectors!

We now have currency with a Royal Enfield on it! :D

no free shipping?
There's probably a code somewhere that gives free shipping for new accounts. Mint usually gives that for brand new accounts

May as well add 125th anniversary of the Stanley Cup pack for $2.50 since the shipping charge for both is the same as just for the Vimy Ridge set alone.

Honest question: my buddy went on a binge a few years back and dropped $10,000 on mint coins. Is there any real way for him to sell it all off without a loss. He has complete collections and rare curulation numbers.

To be completely honest, it's not likely. There were as select few coins that have gone up in price since release (glass bee, 2oz voyager, etc.), but even most official RCM dealers have trouble selling brand new coins at MSRP. He can probably get more money selling on eBay or locally, but selling directly to a dealer is also an option. Expect anywhere from a 25-50% decrease in value depending on what he purchased and where he sells.

Thanked. Ordered. I had manufactured spending in mint.ca from last year with many coins at face value and got some (master?) status, so now have free shipping.
