Thanks. Save another 10%, just had to call customer support! I love RFD!
PS. You can get SDIO wifi cards WITH 1 or 2 GB (maybe more now) flash memory so you don't really have to install PocketMio to main memory.

I'm trying to understand the Wi-Fi thing here? Are you saying that if I install the right programs and have the right card, I can browse the internet on this? What about browser? (Sorry, this is all greek to me)

Nov 9th, 2008 07:19 AM #43This GPS unit runs on a version of the WinCE core, which is the same OS that runs windows based PDAs. The Miopocket program "unlocks" the core and basically gives you a windows type device. Since the MIO has an SDIO capable SD card slot, you can use a SD wifi card in this unit to access internet, when you are in a wifi "hotspot". Originally Posted by jamesdez
