With unreliable companies, MIR prices are almost deceptive. You have to pay the tax on the full amount and you wait for usually an indefinite period, when you could have used the money saved for something else if it was an instant discount. Big BOOOO!

Did you keep a copy of your rebate submission? You can fax or email me everything you sent in and I will tell you what you did, if anything, wrong.

PM me for my fax and/or email.

Not all MIR's are thieves, I've never had any problems so far except waiting like 8 months to get $15. But I do know people have had MIRs not sent out, which IS wrong. Just be cautious to which companies you buy from that have MIR's. For me, eVGA always gets my rebates in a timely matter, where as OCZ takes a long time but i do eventually get it.

Tip to all, when buying items with a rebate, think of it as you'll never see your money again and whatever price you paid is the actual price. Then when you get the rebate cheque, it's a bonus.

Wasn't there some articles that some MIR companies were going bankrupt or lacked funds. I wonder if you're MIR company was one of them.. try googling it, I remember there being something about that a month or two ago.

As for myself, I've done ok on MIR's. Except once back in the 90's it was supposed to rebate in US funds, and it was Canadian funds and cost me 20 bux since i bank on the fx difference. Allthough I haven't bought anything MIR in a few years. They're a pain, they take forever to mail you your cash back, you don't actually know if they'll make you your cash back, and you pay tax on the MIR amount, so it lowers the MIR. I try to avoid them now if I can.

I'm surprised that they didn't state a reason why the rebate was rejected. That's odd that they didn't . . .

I've received several rebates from that address before for Corsair PSUs and memory. Never had a problem.

In almost all MIR I submit and reading the small print it always say that they have the right to reject any application with no explanation (or something to that effect).

so they actually told u flat out that you were rejected? or you think that you are rejected? just because those rebates are only like a few weeks old (like 4 or so)..rebates can take anywhere from 8-12 weeks before you see anything..like the longest i have waited for one would prob be 4 months or so from sending it in.
