yea i wouldnt hire a fresh grad in any management related area unless they had experience ..
tell ur friend to start with anything they can get their hands on...that skooling wont pay off till later when it comes time for a promotion or a raise
coop experience would have been perfect.
btw, dont let the lack of industry experience push them down...retail/restaurant experience can go a long way if they can sell themselfs the right way..
contacts/hookups are always a bonus
goodluck

Mississauga Jobs for University Graduate?
I have a friend who just graduated her 4 year Management and CCIT (Commuications, Culture, and Information Technology) degree. I was just wondering if you guys had any helpful advice for a full-time job in or around Mississauga/Oakville which will allow her to get her foot through the door. Most places require industry experience - where should a grad start with no professional experience (other than retail/restaurant, voluntering etc).
Any suggestions appriciated, as she is looking for fulltime employment to start a career now._______________
