Also don't see it in Ontario. Might be location dependant?

just a PSA. Personally, living in Alberta where 90% of the cars on the road are trucks and SUVs, i would never want to get in a accident in something that weights 1/3 of the other car

This is the stripped down model is manual transmission and has no air conditioning, power locks, cruise control or the 6.5" display w/ Android Auto/Apple Carplay that comes on the next trim level.

BMW is unreliable with bad resell value, prefer lexus instead :((
Someone is stuck in the past... they have been very reliable since the e9x platform. Have daily driven a BMW since 2009 and I've spent only 700 plus 4 hours of DIY when I had a m3 for one throttle actuator. 10+ years and that was the only time I spent anything.

Being in the fire service for decades, I have witnessed the law of physics numerous times with larger vehicles like pickup trucks colliding with smaller vehicles (ie. small cars)-- not pretty sight when we arrive. There are so many pickup trucks on the road that the odds of hitting a pickup are increasing-- smaller vehicles make me very nervous for occupants; I'll leave it at that! Stay safe!

I driven Mitsubishi numerous times, usually the suv, when I rent a car. I can tell you without a doubt they are the worst driving car I ever experienced. Noisy, rough, unrefined.

BMW gets a bad wrap. They due have some common problems. Gaskets, filter housing leaks, hose leaks, oil pan, etc., are all quite common. My family has been a BMW family since the 90's, but we've seen these issues with most of our Bimmers.

That being said, I would never buy a BMW new, like the poster mentioned, resale value is atrocious. I would only lease a new bmw if I were going to write it off for a business. If I were going to pay cash or finance, I would lean towards Lexus, purely for the re-sale value.

Though, if money isn't a concern, then get whatever you like.
