Is the MK808 the best android media player on the market in this price range? There are so many different models I have no clue what is the best buy.

I can confirm that the one I received a couple of days ago does not have bluetooth.

Wifi: define issues, i read it works but poor reception. I mean you aren't going to get good speeds off any device like this for the price. They wont build in a amplifier or anything.

wifi issue : Random disconnect (more than every fews hours), the things gonna be at like 3 feets with a wall betweens the router and the device.. Even if its not a long range, I just want to have STABLE reception
(btw thank for your answer!!)

Newbie
Are there any advantages to this over a streaming box
like Roku, boxee, apple TV...? Or can they compliment each other well enough on a single tv?
I guess you can browse the web? And Use android and its customizations.. Anything else worth noting?

MK808 and RC12 Wireless Keyboard/Mouse for $60
I got my parents a Patriot Box Office instead of the MK808; I've been using the one for myself and love it.
If anyone wants a new MK808 AND the RC12 Wireless 2.4G Fly Mouse Keyboard Control I will sell them both for $60 (firm) total.
Central Toronto. Please PM.

Just got two of these boxes, both suppose to be the MK808, but I received 2 MK808B, Wifi on both of them are pretty bad, the rate is fine, but it disconnects every 10-15 mins.

I don't have a mk808 but I read that for the imito, some people are moving the antennae out of the case and it helps a lot with the wifi performance. maybe it's something you guys can try with the mk808 aswell
