So how's the overall performance of this phone in comparison to the Iphone5? Any good Fido plans that you can sign off right off the bat?
It's a really nice android phone... on par with the Samsung S3. Comparing the Razr to the iPhone5 is like comparing a Thinkpad to a Macbook. Decide on an OS you'd be happy with and then compare similar phones.

There is a long thread for the Fido $56 plan. Most people who are signing up for this are getting that plan.

The phone is very responsive. The screen on it is absolutely beautiful. Browsing on it is very nice. Battery life is very good. The only downside I have found is that the camera takes blurry pictures. Perhaps I am doing something wrong.

Camera is absolute garbage. I find it worse than my iPhone 4 camera. Phone is well made, great keyboard, love the screen, and the phone is very speedy. Overall a solid phone upgrade from an iPhone 4.

So if my GF is currently M2M with Fido since her contract just expired 2 weeks ago...

Does this mean we can't get in on this deal because she's not a new customer?

Ya I called retentions and they said this month will be billed, I call back when my bill arrives and they will credit the whole amount for both lines I activated. Why they can't just adjust now I don't know?

you've got to make that choice. It really comes down to iOS vs android. The phones are pretty equal aside from the camera and the sd slot.

Couple Questions.

1) Does the plan include tax - lol it probably does but i couldn't find the +tax subscript on the fido website

2) Including all the fees and stuff what is the final cost I'm going to have to pay each month.

It's a tough call. Keep my apps from iPhone 3GS, or save the money and only lock into 2 year contract.

No because I have to pay Rogers $175 to break contract. If I grab the iPhone 5 they will waive early HUP.

edit: given that this deal includes the free month it's getting a lot harder to turn down.
