Signed up today' perfect timing. $200 GC + $75 scratch & win GC. 1st month free, $20 referral, $56 plan. I didn't even know about the s & w deal, awesome. My phone is coming from BC, should arrive Tues or wednes
Holy crap! They paid you $295 to take a top-of-the-line phone for free, on one of the best plans that Fido has ever offered.

That plan is $56 x 23 months (since the 1st month is free), which works out to $1288 over 2 years - $295 = $993. That averages out to $41.38 per month over 2 years, for a killer unlimited plan.

So case or no case?
You need a case. My wife has a clear soft rubber case on her iPhone 3GS that has protected her phone for years now and it still looks brand new. I've got one inbound for my Razr HD. It doesn't look great but it protects the phone really well.

I looked for a bumper case but the only ones they have cover the back as well.

No absolute need for a Razr HD case IMO, although I ordered one off eBay just to test. The iPhone 3G/3GS was easy to scratch. For the iPhone 4 I just used a back glass protector with no case 80% of the time, and the thing still looks brand new.

I did buy a screen protector though for the Razr HD. Actually four them for just a couple of bux.

Plus the phone is free and it retails for over $600. When you factor that in it works out to something stupid like $25/month.

Retail is around $499-600, depending on who you believe. Fido says it's $575. By the way, here's Vellamo's HTML 5 score on mine.

Pretty decent. It's still supposed to be a lot slower than the iPhone 5, but I'm not complaining. Hopefully Jelly Bean will remove the OS lag that still exists on some actions, but overall it's quite snappy.

I have a ip5 still, I don't like on ip5: battery life, screen size, & lack of lte in my area (telus). My gfs gs3 has consistent lte (rogers), which is what I'm hoping for since Fido shares w rogers. I highly doubt I will regret it, since the RAZR should address my major gripes that I have w my ip5

I got two of these. One on the 21st and the other on the 24th in Pitt Meadows. They are now out of stock. They have two LTE sims on order as they don't stock the Fido ones.
I got $400 in gift cards but no scratch and win. Please confirm the scratch and wins and what location.

I wonder if they would give people who already bought the phone the scratch card.

Also, I had a store tell me that they would be getting more of these phones in during Boxing Week.

I got one for my wife today after I already had picked one up to replace my old gnex. The battery life and the stock Android feel (after installing novalauncher prime) make this a winner for us.
