I haven't read the whole thread, so please bare with me, but I would have to sign a two year deal to get this? Or can i get it 0$ and no contract? How do I apply the 200gc to knock down the cancellation fee if I do have to sign the contract? Can I apply my own fido dollars to help knock it down further? Annnnd is this the best available phone right now for the cost? Fido is my wife's provider and she doesn't wan too switch providers and/or sign a contract (she pays month to month)

anyone aware of any stock in the Toronto/GTA area?
Also, I checked the supercenter in newmarket and they claimed the giftcard was only $75 rather then the $200 I'm reading about here.

quick question, which store in Calgary did you manage to pick you up? Still looking for 1 in Calgary area. Thanks.
I might have picked up the last. I talked to Mike at the Huntington Hills store. He secured one from the Signal Hill location.

I drove over and picked it up in person. They would have shipped it up but I didn't want the wait.

this is a badass phone that makes you look like a boss. don't get it for your wife. get her an iPhone instead.

to answer your questions the phone costs $325 if you cancel the 2yr contract and no you can't use the fido dollars.

The nexus 4 costs $300 and is arguably a better phone. It is also more dainty for your wife. :-)

I wonder if they would give people who already bought the phone the scratch card.

Also, I had a store tell me that they would be getting more of these phones in during Boxing Week.
what is with the scratch card deal? i sign up on the 20th and i'm wondering myself if i can get the scractch card as well..

Thanks man, appreciate the info, went in for a DOA (can't wake up after 5+ hour sleep) but was told that Calgary had none, good to know that there are still stock floating around.

To cancel is $525 + tax, thats how it appears on my contract terms. So the cost of the phone if you outright cancel should be about $395 if u include hst + gc
