[The Mobile Shop] Boxing Week Deals

Mod Edit: FYI - This forum does not allow posting or asking for referral links in a forum post.
In short, you cannot post in a thread with your referral link, or say you have a referral link and people should PM you. If they are specifically looking for one, you also cannot post a message saying that you have it or you've sent one.
If someone reports you sending or asking for referrals, you'll be hit with an infraction and possible ban later on. Also keep it in mind sending out unsolicited referrals considered spam when reported.

Thank you!

Personally
Nexus 5 > Galaxy Note 2 >= Galaxy S4

Of course, if you are a big multimedia consuomer:
Galaxy Note 2 beats the rest of them easily with its outstanding battery life and big screen, as well as microSD support (vs Nexus 5).

Many of the deals are better at Costco (if you have a Costco membership).

Also, don't get an iPhone 4S in 2014. It's too old and slow. Plus, it's an 8 GB model. Yuck.

But many of the deals in this thread are Koodo deals, not available at all at Costco.

what exactly does "No Contract (Activations)" mean?

Means you must activate a month to month line to get the phone at that price. But since its month to month there is no fee to cancel if you choose to do so.

Comparing the two, biggest things are MOTO G has quad core but no expandable memory and no LTE.

MOTO G can upgrade to lollipop, but unsure if galaxy core can?

Tough to decide since GF is a very light user, only uses wifi... Comes down to whether or not she needs more than 8GB of memory...

ahhhh....am guessing lots of folks activate for a month, get the phone at a discount and then run for the hills?
