If I have one account with 2 lines or 2 phones, do I qualify for more than one PC 50k points?

If you can have different credit cards to pay each line, I don't see why not. Always worth a try. I already cancelled my first line so I should be good when I activate again.

Bought the phone today from RCSS. Which will cost me net $50 (after deducting extra $25 from scratch and win credit, and $25 from koodo referral).

Can't complain for the cost. But surprised and disappointed, though, by the ridiculously flimsy plastic back cover on the phone. Someone who needs to pop off the cover often to switch out sim cards might want to think twice about this phone. Doesn't look like it will take much to crack that thing.

I went to Mobile Shop in RCSS Country Hills in Calgary with Best Buy flyer to ask for the price protection yesterday. But the sale guy asked me to give back $100 gift card (that I spent) and all the box & accessories to him so he can do all over again to give $25 for the difference. It sounds really weird. Did anybody get price protection from Mobile Shop yet?
Ya I did and I just needed I'd to confirm identity for sale and got the scratch card

They do have it but the tab was $400? I asked because I was also interested in the i9100 instead of the T989 but I wasn't about to pay $400. They may have adjusted the price since I asked on Dec 15.
Why were you ? on paper T989 D looks better specs wise

Being a newbie with phones. I was wondering if anyone knows a link to easy instructions to install a custom rom ? Having looked through different threads ( im quite confused now) ive seen AOKP Milestone, Liquid Smooth, Jedi Mind Trick X3. Anyone recommend any of these?

Also, has anyone used invisible shield by Zagg by any chance?

im looking to unlock mine through MobileXpressCanada and to use http://www.ebay.ca/itm/TPU-Cases-Samsun ... 004wt_1042

There is no easy instructions to install custom roms. But simple idea is to :

- install CWM
- Root
- use CWM to install custom roms

or

- use ODIN to install custom roms

Depending on what the author of the custom rom suggests. It takes lot of reading and trial and error and hoping you won't brick your phone if you mess up. My advice is start by simple procedue of free unlock on your S2X. All the infos are in XDA. But to give you some pointer, you would want to :

- install CWM recovery
- install Tmobile radio
- unlock your phone http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthr ... ?t=2024514

S2X looks better on paper, but S2-i9100 model have far better support from international community. It also have faster cpu/gpu even though its rated at 1.2ghz. Don't ask why it is cuz it just is on benchmark. S2-i9100 being more popular, it have more accessories too. Stuff that you found for S2-i9100, you won't find it for S2X.

I've seen this posted before but what exactly does having more international support mean as a benefit? I'm running CM10 on my T989D which as far as I know is pretty much the latest and greatest stable ROM so what other kinds of support does the i9100 get that the T989D doesn't?

There are lot of I9100 and lot more people tinkering with I9100 compared to T989. All we got is bunch of people who have tmobile phones. Some roms works and some roms really isn't compatible with T989D.
