"Includes $690 in phone credit". I.e. with the Tab M ($360) there is together $1050 + tax to repay in the event of an early cancellation or migration...
And $525 + tax after one year..

Mwahaha Koodo hooks up pretty solidly those stupid people who would sign up for this "deal"..

It is time to jump the Koodo ship, I'm afraid...

My man I wonder how much you pay a month for your plan? Is Koodo network or customer service so bad people must pay to get out

I'm myself paying for Rogers 55 a month for 4gb Ontario unlimited and I brought my own device and I feel so bad about it but they won't give me any device for any thing less than 110 a month so if I can get p30 pro for 0 upfront and 100 a month and 200 gc why would I not be happy, some body may help me thanks in advance

What?
You can no longer cancel the same day and keep the phone now?!!!!!
I should have got a few more phones before......
I regret so much now.
How are we suppose to be able to afford to buy any phones now?
If I buy something that is not in deep discounted, my father will punish me; everyone will laugh at me. I will be the strange kid who doesn't fit in.

These are only bad deals for those people that want to buy and cancel. For those planning to stay these are still decent deals and given at around a year and half you can probably get your tab wiped clean and start again that's not bad for a a new phone.

The only phones normal people can afford to buy is the 4 years+ old used phones from kijiji.
I am worse, I can only afford 5 years old used phones. I guess I will need to look for Nexus 5 from kijiji from now on.

But why would normal people want to pay $100 + a month?
You can get a solid plan for $50 or so nowadays.
Without phone churning, Kodoo is nothing special compare to the rest of the bunch.
If I have to choose, i will choose Public or Freedom.

with Koodo closing this "loophole" phone upgrade just got a whole lot more expensive.
Before, I upgraded phones every 2 years as it would literally cost me ~$300 get a year old flagship phones, but now if I want last year's flagship phone or even 2 year old phones, I would have to fork out $500 to $800 at minimum.
Easy phone upgrade days are now over unfortunately.
RIP Koodo-days

It is now a $1000+ phone. And since I cannot use my existing Koodo plan, the 250k pco points are useless. That is going to hit Walmart, PC Mobile, and WOW Mobile hard!

I am in no rush. My $168 LG G6 does everything expensive phones do, almost as well! The new phones are certainly not worth the $1000+ price premium! I have a feeling there will be more of those $168 tab small deals direct from Koodo once inventory swells up in about 6 months!
