Mobilicity Back To School Plans Are Back, $25 and $35 BTS, Starts August 2nd
According to a dealer, these are the two Mobilicity Back To School plans. These are by far the best 2 plans Mobilicity has ever provided.
$25 BTS
Unlimited:
Local + Province-Wide LD
North American Text & Picture Messaging
Calling Features: Caller ID, CW, CF, CC
Unlimited Data

-----------------------------------------
$35 BTS
Unlimited:
Local + North American LD
Global Text Messaging
Calling Features: Caller ID, CW, CF, CC
Voicemail
Unlimited Data
+ 30 Minutes of North American Roaming

-----------------------------------
The plans will now be in effect on August 2nd. Existing customers can switch to these plans as long as they are already subscribed to PAC (pre-authorized credit).
Also plans are for life.
Generally Mobilicity has allowed customers to switch over to plans without any cost but until the promo begins no official word.
-----------------------
For people that will ask: the difference between this years $25 BTS compared to last years $25 BTS is Province-Wide LD and Calling Features (CF, CC, CW).
For people that will ask: the difference between this years $35 BTS compared to last years $40 BTS is this years is $5 cheaper and includes 30 minutes of North American roaming.
-----------------------
NOTE TO ALL POTENTIAL CUSTOMERS:
No iPhones will work on Mobilicity or Wind, NONE!
Heres a list of phones that will: http://www.gsmarena.com/results.php3...e=0&sFreeText=
Keep in mind there are sometimes two versions of the phone, such as non-AWS and AWS so make sure to buy the correct one.

I'm not sure how the $35 BTS promo is better than my $22.50 plan that includes exactly the same features. Granted, my plan is only good til May of next year.

Do they still give $2/month discount for automatic payments? I signed up for the BTS plan last year and with the $2 credit i'm only paying $26 taxes in. I don't really call long distance anyway but it would be nice to have if I wanted to someday.

Any idea how long these plans will be available for? My dad still has port in credits that he is using up until November and I understand he will lose the port in credits if he switches plans. Also, any confirmation if he will lose the $2/mo. PAC credit if he switches?
