My 2 $25 plans are also getting a $5 increase. That's 20%! I think we should all come together and do something about this.

Does another provider offer 5-6gb of data for less than $40?

No, you can you the auto-pay bonuses for your monthly payment. If you've received all the bonuses already, then just turn off auto-pay.

Only in Manitoba/Saskatchewan. Fido recently had a $40 5GB promo there.

I also got a text from chatr saying that my $25 plan will increase by $5.

Annoying but I'm not really bothered by the increase. I doubt you could get all of these features especially 6 GB of data for $30 anywhere else.

But I was hoping that I was on that lifetime plan list that another person mentioned a few pages ago...

Luckly I ported to freedom mobile before the increase, hard to give up the $25 6G plan but I was expecting an increase in the future sooner or later. So far freedom mobile's data speed is much faster when worked but some place still have bad signal, the chatr plan I have is OK for voice most place but data is very slow in some place. I think the zoomer $36 plan would be a better choice at this moment, you can get a free cheap phone if you sign two year contract.

Might actually be worth it to fork a bit more for LTE now. The difference is no longer 15$+ per month..

Hmm, I might just get a 15$ 3gb plan. I only use it as a data for my tablet and rarely go over 3gb

I got the $5 increase to $30 as well. Did anyone file a complaint to CCTS? Last time people got some cash credits.

Just got a text message as well. I think pretty much everyone has had an increase so far? It's not much but sucks, especially since I don't use this plan/phone much.

I sent a general inquiry via their site to see what they say, probably a waste of time.
