No Mobilicity locations where I am unfortunately, but hopefully this means other carriers will stop being idiots about their pricing. Google is partly to blame too though, since they don't ship to Canada.

hard to PM because it is branded.
HOT DEAL, better than the refurbished Galaxy S2. The Retina class display worthx the price difference and it is brand new.

Play Store = LTE version!

It does indeed sound too goo to be true... $300 is like what you'd have to pay for some of the more recent phones - with 3year contracts...
In the US It sells for about that much so It's standard now!

LTE version is pretty useless in Canada because when you don't have LTE coverage, it's just CDMA, so that means it won't work on ANY carrier. They never made a GSM/HSPA/LTE version.

Nope. The Google version is still GSM only. Probably the difference is the firmware version. Takju, Yakju or whatever.

Haha....I don't think you can price match since a new activation is required with the phone.

The one from Google is the HSPA version actually. I get about 6.5 megabits down on Telus.. the battery sucking lte chipset isn't worth more speed to me.

For folks in Calgary: I called about three Mobilicity retailers and they all said they didn't receive an email for this promotion yet, so I'm guessing you'll have to wait until Aug9.
