add the unlimited basic data add-on for $10/month for a total of $30/month.
Personally, I think this is better than the $40 back to school plan.

----------------------------update on Sep/05----------------------
To get 1 month and sim card free:

-Must be switching from Wind
-Must pay for 2 months in advance?

One dealer told me that mobilicity will use Rogers network from Oct/2015. But no official announcement yet.

Good deal if you add the unlimited basic data add-on for $10/month for a total of $30/month.

This is pretty good if you stay in the zone and might get grandfathered with Rogers too, isn't it?

I think the main difference between this $30voice+$10data vs. the $40 plan is the US/International features (texting, voice minutes, etc)

I was just about to do the $40 plan, but this offer came right on time and I'm gonna do the $30+$10 since I use Roam mobility if I travel to the US.

It would be hard for Rogers to argue that they didn't know about these plans or authorize them at this date since the purchase has closed.

This is actually even better for you, since it's $20+$10, not $30+$10! :)

Going to look into this to see if my phones would work on their network... thanks OP!

Is Mobilicity still using their own towers or have they switched to Rogers tower by now?

Correct me if I'm wrong but right now you need an AWS phone to use Mobi, but after the switch, any phone should work i believe (unlocked).

I wonder if a "locked to Rogers" phone would start working on Mobi after the switch without unlocking?

Most probably, like Chatr and Fido.

Like Public does with Telus/Koodo phones.

Does mobilicity offer any credits/discount if you bring your own device? And do they have any discounts for multiple accounts? I don't think so on both questions. Just wanted confirmation as I didn't find anything on the website.
