Usually when someone posts one of these threads it's to bash and complain about the reception or lack of.

But anyone notice way better reception in the downtown core of Ottawa recently?

I was getting 2 bars inside buildings and malls, but now I'm getting full bars everywhere. The data is actually usable and stable. I can actually stream internet radio with out drops. Where as before it the connection dropped every 10 min and it had to buffer again.

I think Mobilicity sent out an email a few weeks back, mentioning they had put up new towers at Rideau and Sussex.

In all honesty I'm impressed. Even deep in malls and office building I'm getting decent reception and about 2.4 mbs 3G.

Not LTE, but I can't complain for $22.50 for unlimited everything.

FYI - I'm using a Galaxy Nexus - live close to Rideau and Sussex and work @ Bank and Laurier.
